This is an English translation of the Spanish legal notice, provided for convenience. The Spanish version, available at lanzalibre.es/aviso-legal, is the legally binding text; in the event of any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.

1. Service provider information

In compliance with Article 10 of Spanish Law 34/2002 of 11 July on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE), users are informed that this website (lanzalibre.es) is owned by Ana Mongelos García, a Sworn English Translator and Interpreter accredited by Spain’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation since 2009.

For any enquiry or communication, you may write to the professional email address info@lanzalibre.es. Full identifying details (tax identification number and professional address) will be provided on request to that address.

2. Purpose

This legal notice governs the use of the website lanzalibre.es (hereinafter, “the website”), owned by Ana Mongelos García. Browsing the website confers the status of user and implies full and unreserved acceptance of all the provisions set out in this legal notice, in the version published at the time of access.

3. Conditions of use

The user undertakes to make appropriate and lawful use of the website and its contents, in accordance with applicable legislation, this legal notice, morality, generally accepted standards of good conduct and public order. In particular, the user undertakes to refrain from:

• Using the website for unlawful purposes or effects, contrary to the provisions of this legal notice, harmful to the rights and interests of third parties, or which may in any way damage, disable, overburden or impair the website.
• Causing damage to the physical or logical systems of the service provider, its suppliers or third parties.
• Introducing or distributing computer viruses or any other physical or logical systems liable to cause damage.
• Attempting to access, use and/or manipulate the data of the service provider, of third-party suppliers or of other users.

4. Translation service

Quotation requests submitted through the form provided on the website do not, in themselves, constitute a contract for the provision of services. Acceptance of a commission is formalised by express communication from the service provider once the document has been examined and the terms (price, deadline and method of delivery) have been notified. Sworn translations are further governed by the specific regulations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation.

5. Intellectual and industrial property

All the contents of the website (texts, photographs, graphics, images, icons, technology, software, links and other audiovisual or sound content), as well as its graphic design and source code, are the intellectual property of the owner or of third parties. None of the exploitation rights recognised by current intellectual property legislation shall be understood as assigned to the user.

Trade marks, trade names and distinctive signs are the property of the service provider or of third parties, and access to the website shall not be understood as conferring any right over them.

6. Exclusion of warranties and liability

The service provider shall not, under any circumstances, be liable for damages of any nature that may arise from, by way of example: errors or omissions in the contents, unavailability of the website, or the transmission of viruses or malicious software in the contents, despite having adopted all the technological measures necessary to prevent this.

7. Links to external sites

The website may include links to third-party pages. The service provider accepts no responsibility for the content, information or services that may appear on such sites, which are of a purely informative nature and which in no case imply any relationship between the service provider and the persons or entities owning such content, or owning the sites on which it is found.

8. Amendments

The service provider reserves the right to make, without prior notice, such modifications to the website as it deems appropriate, and may change, remove or add both the contents and services provided through it and the manner in which these are presented or arranged.

The processing of personal data provided through the website is governed by the Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of this legal notice.

10. Applicable law and jurisdiction

The relationship between the service provider and the user shall be governed by current Spanish legislation. For the resolution of any dispute, the parties expressly submit to the Courts and Tribunals of the city corresponding to the consumer’s place of residence where the consumer is acting as such, in accordance with the provisions of consumer protection legislation.
